Hillside Tavern Tiki At The Tavern

8 of us had a wonderful time on Thursday to hear the great music and enjoy the diners, drinks and fantastic service! will definitely come back!

We went there to meet old friends whom we had not seen in over a year. We were seated quickly and service was excellent. We were enjoying a nice conversation until an acoustical guitarist/vocalist with an amplifier began playing, very loudly. That ended our ability to converse. We noticed that the bar and dining room seemed to empty quickly and only one table appeared to be enjoying the very loud music. We had been there once before where a father/son duo was performing. At that time, the music was performed at an acceptable level and was enjoyable. And we still had the ability to converse. It was a disappointing evening because although the food was very good, we had little opportunity to catch up with our friends. If you want a quiet, relaxing dinner where you can talk to each other, I suggest you avoid their Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Food was better than expected, service was solid and prices were appropriate for quality and portions. Extra bonus was the live entertainment, The Diesel Band, which was excellent and made for a very festive night.

Always a wonderful experience, especially having music to listen to while dining. Prices are reasonable as well. The Tiki bar was nice in warm weather this past September although the menu was slightly limited.

Great food and service. Perfect night to eat outdoors.
