The croissant were too greasy, the doughnut industrial and the quiche and feuilleté were average. The latter would have been slightly better if it had been heated but we were not offered that option. The coffee was worst than what you get out of a sachet. We just binned it. Service is non existent. We paid €19 for this. Avoid at all cost.
A great little spot to enjoy a luxuriously thick and decadent hot chocolate! Service was fast and friendly and the outside seating area was sheltered from the drizzle.
Just for a panini, or coffee cake. Did the job. Sit outside, soak up the atmosphere; watch for the tram decorated to match the Opera, as it goes past the opera. Paul is a regular standbye. Try to speak French, for a better service.
This is a well known chain with an established reputation and did not disappoint for breakfast. Located centrally opposite the tram stop, we enjoyed pain au chocolat, some great coffee, amazing hot chocolate (thick, rich and indulgent) and freshly squeezed orange juice. The cakes looked amazing and it was great to be able to use the outdoor seating area and enjoy the morning sun.
We see Pauls everywhere in France. This is a good bakery to get something quick. Had the poulet sandwich and it was surprisingly delicious. The mini beignets are very yummy.
