Almstuberl - Reit im Winkl

We had spinach and cheese dumplings and very good local alcohol-free beer. Waitress was local and very friendly and even recognized us when we came back to coffee 2 hours later, which was also good. next time, it was better than the hotel about 50 meters up.

We went to this place for lunch and sat outside with a beautiful view. We ordered carving and roasted semmelknödel fried Bread Knödel . The carving was made home and the fried potatoes. The fried bread dumplings were served in an iron pan, cut with egg and a little pumkin seed pesto. Delicious! This is something I like when the food is handmade and with some small nice ideas. Many dishes were as smaller portions, also great service! We'd be back!

Wir waren 15 Tage in Reit im Winkl und 4 x auf der Winkelmoosalm. Jedes Mal sind wir nach einer Wanderung mit unserem kleinen Vierbeiner im Almstüberl eingekehrt. Das Essen hat uns immer wieder begeistert, sehr lecker und ausreichend. Auch der Service war hervorragend.

Wir hatten die Winklmoosalm besucht und dort eine Wanderung gemacht. Anschließend sind wir hier eingekehrt und haben auf der Terrasse Platz genommen. Der Ausblick ist sehr schön. Das Personal.... na ja.....Man hatte manchmal eher das Gefühl man stört, obwohl fast nichts los war. Wir hatten Wurstsalat. Dieser war groß und ok. Schmeckte frisch.
