Crown Kilt Pub - Renfrew

Seven family members at the Arnprior location. 3 ordered the Caesar salad and one was disappointed enough to tell the server it was unacceptable and did receive a replacement. All 3 noted the lettuce was bitter and the Caesar dressing was probably only Miracle Whip, no taste of anchovies. none of the salads were eaten. Previous visits to this site were acceptable, but we noticed changes in menu items from earlier visits. Had recommended this site to friends and family, no longer a viable choice. The server was fine, but the food was not very appetizing. Don 't waste your money here.

Food was delicious (I had to get the schnitzel and it was worth it), the atmosphere was exactly what I hoped and the staff was charming. It was a great experience and I will make the trip out for another delicious meal again in the future.

I’ve eaten at RMH many times. I usually have the schnitzel with fries and both have always been well prepared and delicious. Crispy onion topping is great! Huge menu of items, lots of tables and booths for groups, friendly service.

Was told by our server that we had to buy a bottle of water if you wanted water because water was not potable. When asked to speak to manager, she explained that water was potable but still had to pay for a glass of tap water. The manager got very loud and long winded in her defence of charging for water. In the end, we paid for our drinks and left. We went to another restaurant in town that had great food, friendly service and FREE water.

Food was ok but not stellar. The schnitzel was average... Really disappointed that they charged 3$ just because my husband and I wanted to split a sandwich. I haven't run into that in years...toilets in the reception area are small and dank...
