Lomond House Carry Out - Renfrewshire

I arrived at the restaurant for their opening and was greeted by a friendly girl who took my order of fried rice, plain chowmein, and curry sauce. The customer service was excellent and made my dining experience a pleasure. The food was delicious as well.

This restaurant ruined Christmas for a customer who had been loyal for over 15 years. We called at the beginning of the week to book our Christmas dinner, as we had done for several years. We were told to come in and pay the deposit at the shop, which we agreed to do. However, when we called back on December 21st, we were met with a rude and condescending woman who told us our name wasn't on the list. Despite explaining that we had called to book, she insisted they were full due to taking 15 bookings that night. We asked to speak to the person we originally spoke to, but she refused and told us to come down to the shop to sort it out face to face in a threatening manner. As a result, we are now without a Christmas dinner. We used to frequent this restaurant multiple times a week and had chosen them for our Christmas dinner in previous years. The level of unprofessionalism and childish behavior displayed by the staff was shocking. We later saw on their Facebook page that they claimed to be full for Christmas, which we found to be an absolute joke.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and you get a generous portion. However, like others have mentioned, there are times when the delivery can take up to 2 hours. On the bright side, the food always arrives fresh.

The quality is usually great but every now and again it’s poor, not sure if they have a different chef but best Chinese carry out by far in renfrew

We've been using this restaurant for a long time even when staying in another town we travelled here as the food is so delicious. Try their crispy chilli beef if you fancy something spicy or if sweet and sour is your thing, their chicken version is tasty. The staff are full of banter and remember your order if you're a regular customer. Sometimes can be a bit busy, but a phone call in advance sorts that out.
