The Howwood Inn - Renfrewshire

I stopped by this small, clean pub for a quick drink before catching my train.

Thursday night quiz night, was great, great host and competetors and was a good atmosphere. Service was very good, and all customers were attended too.

The newly renovated Howwood Inn is charming and definitely worth a visit.

The food was lovely and amazing value. There is a nice cosy atmosphere in this old Inn which has been tastefully modernised. Highly recommend.

The Howwood Inn has certainly vastly improved over the last few months. There is a nice atmosphere as you enter the premises and the staff are all very attentive to your needs. The food is very nice and there is enough choice to suit most people. The chef was very accommodating when we attended as a party of over twenty people a couple of weeks ago. Some who were vegetarian stated they all really enjoyed their meal. The Chef also came over to check everyone wash happy with their choices, which makes diners feel attended to. The Portion sizes were certainly not scrimped upon. The music was good, the Woodburners were glowing and the Staff could not have been more accommodating to the customers.The inside also has a rustic touch to it with old stone, brick and wooden beams which all makes the experience more pleasurable. Prices are excellent for food and drink. We have dined in many places which are not too far from there an they were overpriced and did not hit the mark!!! for the dining or overall experience. we highly recommend this place for an enjoyable night out with family or friends. They deserve to be recommended for their recent efforts to please their customers !!! we will certainly be back again!! In fact we are already booked in with friends for next week. Can see the bookings being weeks in advance if they keep up the current theme.
