Good beer, wine and cocktails. Food available at lunchtime. Friendly bar staff. Sport on TV. Felt like a proper French bar

I really like this place. The owners are very friendly; the prices are very good, and it is very much a locals bar. I go there to watch French footie and work on my French. You can join in or be left to read your paper, just as a French bar should be.

I had a few hours to kill in beautiful Rennes and happy I found this nice lunchtime restaurant. Not much English spoken but we got by and I enjoyed a lovely lunch. Nice atmosphere.
