La Tribune - Rennes

Arrived here on a Monday evening at 21:00 and the place was completely crowded. However, it took only 10 minutes for my Fish and Chips to arrive. When I claimed that my chips were too dark I was told that this is a local variety with lot of starch which turns dark when frying. If you ask me, the cook just messed it up. The Fish was very standard quality. The beer was fresh and the service was very quick and friendly, however, I wouldn‘t go again. Lacks of athmosphere and good fast food.

We picked La Tribune to eat dinner on our way through that very busy part of Rennes based on the TA write ups and are delighted we did. Very pleasant setting with outdoor dining at the back, ie away from the low level) hum of traffic, top quality service a bit of a rarity in France) and very competently executed cooking: pizza, pasta and meat cuts. Recommended.

Ok for a quick business lunch, quick and polite service. Food average with reasonable prices. Booking advised during weekdays.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great, well worth a trip to this fine pub/ restaurant.

Hello as in the title pizzas not of flavors the plate of fries in addition is ridiculously small house but nothing exceptional otherwise the service is just correct
