They don't cook all this food at all! This is a modified version of Afghani food tailored for French people. Also, people who say great things about this restaurant have probably never been to Afghanistan or tasted authentic Afghani food – so they don't have anything to compare this food with, that's why their experience is good. Also, paying €14 for a small plate of unauthentic Palaw is a rip off in my opinion! Never again!
Just loved the food here. The delicate distinctive flavours, that every little thing seems to taste freshly made to perfection. Well worth a visit. We took our food to go, but the restaurant looks like a nice spot to spend an evening.
Delicious food! We like the food and everything we ordered. We recommend this restaurant and don't hesitate to order the rice with cardamom. It was excellent!
Cuisine is not the first thing which comes to mind about Afghanistan. But Rennes-Kaboul is a great little Afghan restaurant located just outside the city center. We went there twice, and the food is consistently delicious. Special award for the Naranji with its rice mixed with orange zest! The room is neatly decorated in a clean and modern style. Prices are very reasonable.
Excellent! Everything is very good, the balls are mostly falling! It's both high and low. The wine is perfectly matched. The frame is sober with selected decoration elements, the service is good as well. I suggest serving at least the saffron tea with neutral water, not that of Rennes whose chlorinated taste hides the taste.
