We went in at an early dinner and ordered the half lasagna and spaghetti wirh meatballs ball's and was great! The cook even made sure we didn't run out of garlic bread, which only cost an additional dollar.Wheelchair accessibility: ADA compliat, but will be tight for a wheelchair in the restrooms
Turn back the clock and go here for a good local Italian neighborhood restaurant like the good old days. Good wine for decent price.
We have lived in Reno for 10 years and always choose Casale's at the place to take out-of-towners, We love the welcoming, family vibe every time we walk through the door. The servers seem to treat everyone like long lost friends. The bar seats are always filled and give us a feeling like we are walking in on an episode of Cheers. But we always take a seat at one of their classic checkered tablecloth-covered tables. We love the vintage ambiance. Given that Casale's has been open since 1937, you will find lots of throw-back items here including old knick knacks, dated advertisements, and a large poster of Dean Martin. This place is tied to cherished memories of many people in our lives. We are happy to think that we brought my husband's mother and my mother here separately and they were both able to meet Mama Casale as she came around to greet the guests at her tables. And it's sad to think they are all gone now. We just took my Truckee-based brother-in-law here the other day for the first time and it quickly became his favorite restaurant in all of Nevada. He and I had pizzas while my husband had spaghetti and meatballs. We each had an ice cold bottle of Henry Weinhard's Root Beer (the best! and shared a plate of yummy garlic bread. While the top outside crust of my pizza was burnt as it always is when I get it, I realize that I like this place for so many more reasons than just the food. And as to my husband, he loves every dish he's ever had here!
Now i completely regret that I've been living in Reno for almost 30 years, and this was our first time dining in (date night . we've had their lasagna before (which was amazing!!!! but finally had the chance to come in! I ordered a blood orange spritzer(? which was delicious! and the beer on tap was extra cold!Lasagna 10/10!!! Meat Raviolis with Meatballs 10/10!!! ??
Love everything about this place! Food, people, atmosphere, and customers are all top notch.Food: 5/5
