Chinese Village - Reno

Literally from the opening day almost two decades ago, thru last night, our family Reno gedimt in the Chinese village. The food is excellent. Always fresh food accompanied by a large beer list. Owner Steve and Charlene, with artist Daughter Jade paintings decorating the walls, make for a pleasant evening.

Not great, ordered beef broccoli, but they don't even give a side of rice, so had to order one whilst there, the shrimp fried rice was cold, and the egg rolls were boring, a total of over $40 and no delivery anymore, I know costs have gone up but this is ridiculous

OK so we are new to Reno and my wife and I saw this little restaurant and we decided to try it. First of all Customer service who is bad and second of all I found a hair in my food it was to go so I drove all the way home sat down and I began to eat the sweet and sour chicken was dried and tasted frozen the beef broccoli was flavor less and the rice as well the hot and sour soup tasted like metal so I drove back to the restaurant I told the lady the food was nasty and it had a hair in my food she told me her restaurant has been open for 20 years and people are eating the same food as me it was just my taste buds but I told her I found a hair and I was trying to feed my son and that?s just nasty she completely ignored that I found a hair in my food and she just told me OK what do you want me to do I told her I want my money back because this food is no good and she told me OK OK but you don?t come back to my restaurant and I told her OK I?m not going to come back to your restaurant and she just left mad

I really enjoy the food here, and it seems like the chef takes great pleasure in what he does.

I've been coming here for many years, but this time I was really disappointed. The orange chicken only had the ends of the chicken, and every piece was mostly fried breading. It was quite disappointing.
