Jimmy John's - Reno

I found this sub sandwich shop to be below average. I ordered delivery to my workplace, but I would have preferred either Port of Subs or Ike's just down the street. Jimmy John's always feels underwhelming given the quality of their food and the prices they charge.

Incredibly stylish and efficient! I absolutely love their bread. I ordered four subs, and they were all ready in under three minutes! They’re also delicious! This place is a bit tucked away, so if you don't live in the area or know where it is, you might miss it! Thank you, Google, for directing me here. I'm really glad I stopped by. The staff was very friendly and made sure I understood the sizes of the sandwiches. THANK YOU! I will definitely return for more amazing subs!

I placed my order online at 12:26. It took a frustrating 40 minutes for my order to be marked as out for delivery. Considering my location is just 0.5 miles away from Jimmy John's, it was disappointing that it took an additional 15 minutes for the food to actually arrive. So here I am, 56 minutes later, finally receiving my lunch. Wow... I definitely won't be ordering from here again!

OK I stopped here twice on the way to California and on the way back on the way back I?ve got to tell you that I was just frustrated that the person that was helping me decided that he needed to print and have me sign my receipt now I have never had to do this and I?ve ordered probably 100 sandwiches this year in different locations. But this particular employee wanted me to leave him a tip so I asked him why do I need to sign I always use Apple Pay and just tap and he told me well it helps for tips. I looked right at him and I said do you want me to leave you a tip? So I left him a dollar tip but let me just say this I feel like if you?re taking an order you don?t deserve a tip if you are serving me bringing me food and helping me have an enjoyable dining experience you deserve a tip but for taking an order you don?t deserve a tip and I really don?t appreciate that this individual would print a copy so that I could sign it and he was requesting a tip that?s tacky it?s just not the way you do it and it?s the first time that it?s happened to me over a number of locations and trips and sandwiches across the country at this chain. I would strongly encourage the franchise owner to put an end to this behavior quickly.

Friendly staff, the sandwiches are pretty good too. There is not too many choices on the menu but all of the ones I've tried have been delicious so I guess , just do what you are good at, right?
