Eating is fabulous. You must be in German, but we loved it!
Large Bavarian restaurant that closes its doors for g[I 'd due to the changing neighbourhood and covid restrictions. the owner sells and to the rest. so sad! great food and friendly service. very old school with a huge banquet room and a lot of dance floor. the bakery and food business makes this place a stop shop for everything Bavarian.
Deli and bakery are amazing! eating in restaurant is authentic. it's a family lover. the restaurant is on the expensive side, but the bakery is much more affordable. their puppets, eclairs and other baked varieties are the best and have this wonderfully fresh homemade taste. they also have a good German chocolate cake.
Have not eaten at the restaurant but have heard many positive things from friends and family. Have been a regular at the grocery/bakery portion of the place though for a few years. Nice selection of German products. My mom was born and raised in Germany and this is her go to for a lot of her food nostalgia. Prices are a bit high but it’s to be expected given the products are specialty brought in. The pastries and breads from the bakery are fantastic and alone worth visiting the place. The main reason for the minus star is the employees aren’t always great. It’s very hit or miss when you go in. I’ve had experiences on both ends.
