Lucky Beaver - Reno

We are visiting from DFW and spent some time searching for a good sports bar and grill. We stumbled upon a fantastic one! The food was enjoyable, but the highlight of our experience was our server, Sarah. Her suggestions were spot on, and she was such a friendly and delightful young woman. We will definitely come back during our stay in Reno.

I've visited this restaurant several times, and the food is quite good. They offer beer on tap, and the waitresses are lovely. Yesterday, I ordered a foot-long hotdog for $15, which comes with fries. I requested the same toppings they use on their Chicago dog: relish, some kind of pico de gallo, pickles, and peppers. To my surprise, my $15 hotdog turned into a $21 hotdog just because of the extra condiments. That's a bit too pricey for me, especially these days when everything seems to be getting more expensive. I don't think I'll be returning for a while.

It truly exceeded my expectations; it's definitely a must-visit place!

The presentation was nice, but I was surprised to find that sweet potato fries cost an extra two dollars and they only give you a small portion. The burger itself lacked flavor; even the barbecue sauce didn't help much. Overall, I was pretty disappointed—there was no taste or enjoyment for the thirty-dollar price tag. Honestly, I think some burgers from Burger King are even better. For thirty dollars, I expected a lot more flavor. On a positive note, the service was fantastic; the staff was really on top of things, and I appreciated being able to see them cook the food. However, the burgers just didn't live up to my expectations—they really didn't taste like much at all.

We received excellent service and enjoyed delicious food, especially considering how late my friend and I arrived. As for parking, it can be a bit tricky to find a spot, but it's not the worst situation, to be honest.
