Miguels Méxican Food At The Summit

I was pleasantly surprised the food service and ambiance were all outstanding. We went in for lunch.

I really like this place and I’ve been there for many times with my family and friends and YES it’s my favorite Mexican place in Reno. Unfortunately my last visit wasn’t good experience because the server just missed our order and charged us for really weird things. I ordered a plate with meat and shrimp and he brought me just the meat and I asked him; hey you guys forgot the shrimp and he brought it but in the end charged me extra and I just let it go and I tried to explain and he didn’t get it. But for sure next time I’ll be aware.

The food is really tasty for an affordable price. No issues eating here as a celiac as long as you are considerate of the obvious no no's like quesadillas and burritos. Nachos and corn tacos are my favorite here. The chips are amazing! I am looking forward to exploring more of the menu.

Loved the atmosphere and the decor but thought it was odd that the host didn’t greet us (Unless “2?” counts as a greeting) and someone dropped off chips and salsa without saying a word…but hey, we had chips and salsa. Our server was very nice and attentive….except I asked for my soup with no extra cheese or sour cream and it was so cheesy I ended up giving it to my husband. I was disappointed because it did taste good. Overall, if I was in the area I might go again but it wasn’t an experience that made me anxious to go back.

Portions are smaller, cost has gone up, service is ehh
