If you are a fan of cactus, they serve it here! Their beans are a special variety, lighter than the normal pinto or black beans, and made fresh every morning. Additionally, they do a wonderful American breakfast, Eggs Benedict, Belgian Waffle, etc., better than many dedicated American breakfast cafes. Do not discount these offerings. La Parada Cafe has been here for 20 years, located across the highway from the GSR. This history shows in its decoration and atmosphere. We love the bull taxidermy. It is family owned and operated, food made by the parents, and waited by the daughter. They are all very personable (They even let us take home some of their spider plant propagates! and it is clear they care deeply about their craft. Some friends invited us here a while back and it has since become a staple of our diet. It is worth a visit. Parking: There are about 34 free parking spots available right near the business, 4 of which are parallel street parking, 6 others others being located in front of adjacent businesses.
Good food, family flavor, friendly staff Parking: Right in front of the restaurant.
Great food and the atmosphere was awesome. It was cool to look up and see all the different trinkets around the room. Loved the chilaquiles.
