The Kafana At Bordertown - Reno

Great spot for breakfast and lunch! Although I've never dined there, the waitress was friendly and quick, ensuring my glass was never empty.

The food was quite enjoyable for a café setting, and the server was very pleasant. I would have given it 5 stars, but I noticed another server engaging in behavior that I couldn't overlook. I decided to reach out to management directly about it.

This is definitely the go-to spot for a great meal while traveling. We make a point to stop here every time we pass by. The casino can be quite smoky, but I've never had a bad experience at the restaurant. I highly recommend it!

Love the Kafana in Bordertown! When we tried a few years ago, we were not impressed. Our To-go orders were always messed up and the food was just fine, but we gave it another time a year or so before and WOW! Not sure what has changed, but it has become our goal. Large house cooked style meals. Good service. Rare the more errors in orders. The fish tacos are probably the best I ever had, which is crazy, because it is a small casino dinner in the northern valleys. The hot turkey sandwich is so good! Something about a sandwich drowned in the severity that is just so satisfying. Good choice. All I tried here was good, including breakfast. Prices are reasonable. It's nice to have a place nearby.

Who knew that such a cute place existed on the border of California and Nevada! Wonderful food wonderful service and a cute little casino. They even have a Non smoking row for gambling. Everyone here is so friendly and accommodating! Check this place out!
