For lunch, the burgers are also very tasty. Don’t forget to use the jukebox at your table; just hit the button on the bottom right to make a selection, young one! However, keep in mind that the music isn’t very loud, so you might want to ask for it to be turned up a bit. Mel's is a fantastic place to gather with your friends during the burn season for pre- or post-festival meals! Like the Playa, Mel's has so much to offer!

On a positive note, our waiter Chris was friendly and attentive, though another waiter seemed overwhelmed and was hurriedly yelling out orders. Some might call this an authentic American diner experience, but to me, it just felt subpar. Interestingly, when we left at 11:00, there was a line forming outside. This experience taught me not to assume that a brand maintains its quality across franchises. If there’s one highlight from our visit, it was the outdoor lighting and the vintage atmosphere, which were quite charming.

I want to give a shoutout to the staff! They were definitely in need of assistance, as there were only four employees serving 30 customers. Despite the busy environment, they really stepped up and did an amazing job. The food was excellent as well. Thank you to everyone working on April 22nd at 1 PM!

Mels is always a good place to eat. Chili cheese fries, san francisco burger, big bopper with a koks and strawberry jake. I played some songs from our table. very pleasant.

2nd time at this location. Food is good, and the staff is friendly. Busy during the morning rush as expected. Would prefer more social distancing within seating areas. Bring change, there is a mini jukebox at the table for music entertainment ????
