The salty fish chicken fried rice is absolutely delicious! Don’t be misled by its appearance from the outside; this place is truly fantastic. The sautéed string beans with minced meat are a real treat!!! Most of the dishes are 100% authentic Chinese. Next time, I’m eager to try their Peking duck, crab/lobster, and sizzling platters. By the way, even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded, they had a constant stream of take-out orders!
This place has quickly become my new favorite restaurant. Most of the dishes we've tried have been above average. The hot and sour soup was delicious, and the Szechuan crispy prawns were fantastic as well. The sweet and sour deep-fried fish was enjoyable, though it had quite a bit of batter. Nonetheless, I would definitely order it again. We also liked the Moo Shu, which we had with shrimp. The Kung Pao chicken had great flavor but was a bit overcooked and dry. We found the cashew nut chicken, mixed veggie beef, and black mushroom with tofu to be somewhat bland and not our favorites. Someone suggested trying the Happy Family Delights, so that's on our list for next time. As for the service, we had no complaints despite the restaurant being packed. It did take a little while for us to place our orders and receive our food, but the waitress was friendly and joked with us. She was clearly working hard, managing two large groups that arrived simultaneously. Overall, this place is definitely worth a return visit.
I’ve dined here twice so far, and this restaurant offers authentic Cantonese cuisine. The space is quite spacious, although it could use some updates. All the dishes are reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed the steamed oysters— we ordered half a dozen for just $16, and the waitress even took off a dollar because one of the oysters was smaller than usual. Every time we visit, we order the snow pea leaves, sweet and sour pork, or the pork chop with Peking sauce, along with stir-fried flat rice noodles with beef. Overall, the food has been very good. I’m a huge fan of pork chops with Peking sauce and have tried them at various Chinese restaurants, but so far, this has been the best one I’ve tasted. The pork chop here is leaner compared to the fattier versions at other places. If you’re in the mood for authentic Cantonese food and prefer a less crowded spot, this is the place to go.
Line out the door tonight, happy we had a reservation! This was Awesome!! 10/10 recommend!
The food was good. The chow mein was a bit oily and less of it likely would only make the dish better. The sesame chicken was not crispy like I expected, maybe by design, but anyway also good. I would be happy to try other dishes here in the future.
