Cool fireplace in the middle adds charm and the drinks were solid 7+. I have the ham shank and it was good. Definitely par boiled and fried so crunchy on the outside. Little fatty for me but that 's the way ham shanks go. Bartender Mickey knew his way around the bar and people were fun. Cool spot. Warning. No Guinness LOL. I guess makes sense just PUB Guinness to me. The German stein beer is good enough to overlook it though!
HOLY KRAMPUS! BATMAN This has been on my to try list for ages and I 'm so happy I finally did make it over here cuz this so far has been the best restaurant I 've been to since Birreria Tijuana like two years ago. Like for me to go to a restaurant twice in two weeks means that I have found a gem. The first time I came here I got the Kässe sprätzel and the Berliner Bratwust. And I came back again this week for the Kässe Sprätzel and the Landjäger/Kässe plate and they were phenomenal. The Kässe Spratzel has sharp cheese and I recommend upgrading and getting the bacon in it because it only adds so much more flavor, the onion rings on top are super crispy but light. They aren 't way down by the batter or heavy. It 's literally the best noodle dish. I 've probably ever had anywhere. And it beats my 127 W. social house review for mac cheese. The bartenders really kind, his name is Troy or the one that served me. His name is Troy. All the other servers are really nice. The ambience is dark, yet cozy. it gives dungeons and dragons kind of vibe, pub, but also sophisticated and classy but warm. I will definitely be back here like once a month I think I think I have found my spot that I love. The Berlin bratwurst was delicious, but if you 're into more of like a snappy brat this isn 't your place I do prefer snappy wurst, but the seasonings inside were delicious. It 's just the perfect blend. if you want a sweet like treat, I definitely recommend getting a beer float or a root beer float because it was delicious. Lastly, the Landjäger plate was delicious. The sausage is a bit spicy or the cured meat is spicy, the mustard here is God tier, I don 't know if it is housemade or not. But I am known as the mustard monster as it is my favorite condiment because I love sour and it is perfect. The cheese were really interesting, ranging from more of like a Swiss nutty cheese to something that resembled the Havarti to something that looked like a blue cheese, but tasted like a mix of blue cheese with brie and a ricotta. All I know is, everything that I have gotten at the Berliner pub is immaculate and if you haven 't been here, you gotta go.
Been twice this month! Super nice spot, servers are always great. There's a cozy fire out outdoor seating with fire going as well. Closest thing to Leavenworth in the area! Pickle fires are a must, Pretzel was bomb too. Definitely would recommend will be coming again
Berliner Pub has such a fun and cozy atmosphere. They serve all your classic German grub like bratwursts, pretzels, schnitzels, curry fries, etc.. They also have like twenty different beers on tap as well as a number of cocktails and seasonal drinks. My favorites are the Prickly Pear beer (which tastes like a honey seltzer) and the Munich Noire Shandy (which is a seasonal winter offering that tastes like a Ghirardelli raspberry dark chocolate bar in my opinion). The prices are very reasonable- my boyfriend got 1L of Prickly Pear beer for like $8! Service is fantastic. All servers are super nice and attentive. They have trivia nights on Wednesdays and I think Karaoke sometime over the weekend? The place is family friendly, but it's mostly just adults in the evenings. They have a back patio open when it's not raining cats and dogs. The decor is Gothic/Medieval era and they have their club members' beer steins lined along the walls which is a pretty cool addition. Overall, 5/5 for drinks, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere
Went here for the first time to try their food and beers. The ambiance is nice. You walk in and seat yourself. Bekah (sp? was great and kept asking us how we were doing and if we needed anything else. We had the pretzel with cheese and mustard which was delicious! It was a huge pretzel, warm, with salt and came with a soupy cheese and ground mustard and a rich house mustard. I also had the wurst place with currywurst and bockwust. Both were delicious and it came with a side of mustard and sauerkraut. I ordered the house made chips and they were delicious and had a slightly sweet seasoning which set off the savory sausages. I'll definitely be back to try more!
