Top Pot Doughnuts - Renton

Top three local drip coffee place for me. PCC and El Ladro other two. Delicious donuts. My second favorite local donut is their Chocalate glazed old fashioned. Apple fritter is second favorite here, although everything I've had has been Delicious. A unique drink here is the Ovaltine latte. It's very good, I like it iced. They also offer ice cream, although I've never had it. If you're a coffee drinker get the drink stamp card. I can't believe they still do it the old fashioned way.

The staff here are incredibly friendly. This is the best spot in the area for coffee and donuts! I just wish they would stay open until 4 PM.

Donuts were fine, drink was fine. It’s nothing stellar. In terms of the donut, it’s a bit dry. It tasted like an old fashion with pink frosting on it, I was expecting more of a cake-like pastry. 3/5. However, they do have a WIDE variety of options and they are relatively cheap. You can find them in grocery stores as well, so if you ever want a decent donut that’s not grocery store quality, there you go! The drink was…. let’s just keep it at I don’t want to comment. The tea flavor was hardly there as the sweetness had overwhelmed the drink. Please don’t get the tea lattes. I had an iced ovaltine latte. It’s really just your standard mocha made with ovaltine (chocolate milk, I believe? . It was fine, bit bland, but fine. 2.5/5. I’d get it again if I was craving something chocolate, but the drinks here are insanely overpriced. The main highlight was the beautiful place, absolutely stunning with great supportive staff. But ultimately, I wouldn’t be coming back. You are paying for Starbucks quality drinks for $7 for a 20oz… Yeah, no. Come here for the donuts, the free wifi, the nice staff. But do not come here expecting quality drinks. The place is beautiful though!

I arrived closer to closing time and decided to try a vanilla latte along with a plain chocolate cake donut. The donut was enjoyable! However, the latte was a bit too sweet for my taste. I prefer my lattes to be mildly sweet, and this one was quite overpowering. On the positive side, the service was excellent—quick and attentive. I would definitely come back to sample something different!

I've never had any problems with takeout and donuts here. The employees are friendly, and the place is clean. However, when I want to sit down and enjoy a coffee and donut, I really miss having a proper plate and a glass mug. I don't think that's asking too much for $10.
