My wife had a Fisherman's basket which was huge (Luckily we had a son and two grandchildren with us to assist!) and, she said, everything was excellent, excepting the fried fish which was OK but not great. The menu is very expansive with, I imagine, something to suit everyone.
Disinterested staff really set the tone for this fairly average venue. They do serve Gluten Free options but these are limited and strangely do not include any pizza which is really the main fare offered. No GF chips either which was disappointing. GF pastas and nachos are available. We did not feel that the staff were very interested or knowledgeable on their GF offering so check it out carefully yourself before taking anyone with Celiac Disease here.
We just had lunch at The Groove Train, was delicious. I had the satay chicken so fresh and tasty. My partner had the angus beef burger. Said it was one of the best he had. The vibe in the place waa great also. Will be back
We went here over the school holidays,it was very busy and they said at least an hours wait but only ended up waiting least than half an hour. The staff were very nice and the food also was nice.
If you're heading to the groove Train for dinner, please leave room for the chocolate calzone dessert.I shared it with my sister as it is fairly large and we were very full afterwards. It is extremely chocolatey, but great for chocolate lovers!Only problem on the night was that it seemed a little understaffed for a Friday and you cant make reservations. Will be back again for dinner before the next hockey game at OBGA.Thanks!!
