Pupatella - Reston

We went on a Sunday night. It was pretty much chaos. I had to go ask to see if our pizza had been started after 15 minutes. It hadn't. The bartender was great. He was on time and helpful. We ordered the Mimosa pizza. Great crust and a unique combination of flavors on this pizza. The corn was fresh, crispy, and perfectly roasted.

The pizza taste was good, the appetizers were fabulous. Customer service was bad, you just have to pay for your order first and then they take your order after that we didn't see the waiters around our table again to ask us anything. We went to look for the condiments personally that were on a table near the entrance because nobody offered us. As we left, no one looked at us to say thank you or see you later even though the place looked empty.

Legit Neapolitan pizza with crust and chewiness that is out of this world. Ordered a prosciutto with arugula and it was inhaled very quickly. If you are not too hungry then one pizza can be shared with another not too hungry person. If you are hungry then it is sized for one hungry person. Photo is from Pupatella Arlington location where half of pizza was consumed before I took a photo.

Excellent Neapolitan pizza! I had their meatball appetizer, a margarita DOC with sausage, and a draft beer. The total with tax and tip was around $40 and I ended up taking half the pizza home with me.

Long time waiting and didn’t even apologize for it. Not coming here ever again.
