Contribuisci feedbackAfter a long journey to dinner immersed. we were assured by a few that the restaurant left that eating was fantastic, it wasn't. I had the recommended goulash and my man had the stroganoff. To be honest, we couldn't say that difference.
Very nice location, lots of parking, the restaurant is pretty. the people of the restaurants gently. we tried more tipic dishes of the tirol kitchen. the prices are okay. the managar is not very friendly.
I had come across this restaurant on TA and noticed one of the reviews indicated that there was wild game on the menu (later found that the wrong restaurant was reviewed). Tis the season of Fall, I was looking to dine on delicious venison (as...also implied by the name of the hotel/restaurant). However, we were met with a menu completely different than expected which is perfectly fine as my family and I can easily adjust. What happened next was one of the worst experiences in my life within Europe. Although I will admit the overall service was really nice and attentive, the food missed the mark on every opportunity provided. We dined on veal gorgonzola, beef steak and chicken dishes. Apparently, the salt shaker was in a good mood and was dancing around like crazy in every morsel of the dishes happily placed their by the chef. After spending some time near Salzburg, I didn't think that another dish (or group of dishes) could contain such salt. In general, my family and I could not complete our meals and left underserved. As it was late and others in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying their meals, we decided to leave hungry without raising in any issues on the meal assuming it was just our experience. After all, it is sometimes easier to just walk away when you know that the experience cannot get any better. If you choose this place for dining, I wish you the best of luck but advise many more options in the area for a nice feast after visiting the nearby castles. As for the price, expect average meal value to approach euros. Drink prices are consistent with other venues in the region.
Traditional austrian food at a good price. drinks were also in the price ok. don't let a starving here. the staff was fast to serve the food.
It needed a nearby place to eat and ended here. some of the foods were very good, but nothing special or interesting. this was the only place where we had a staff with zero English that we worked out, but surprisingly.
