G's Dairy Delights - Rexburg

It was quite good overall, but I was really disappointed by how few cookie chunks there were in the "monster cookie" half-gallon bucket.

My favorite spot for when I'm craving a cheese sandwich but don't feel like making it myself! Their ice cream is fantastic, with a wide selection of flavors to choose from. They also offer a variety of groceries for added convenience.

The ice cream here is the best in town, and the staff is very friendly. However, I do find it a bit bothersome that they frequently ask for tips, especially since it only takes them a few seconds to scoop the ice cream. Sometimes, they don’t even scoop it well, which has caused ice cream to almost spill off my cone. It's frustrating to receive a tip request for a job that seems easy but isn't executed well.

G’s dairy has some of the best ice cream in eastern Idaho. I’d even say in some aspects I’d prefer it over reeds dairy ice cream. However, their prices and servings are absolutely ridiculous. The single scoop I’d say is priced fair but when you compare it to the itty bitty which is half the price for one spoonful of ice cream I’m in shock. I got the itty bitty for my 4yr old who was visibly upset when I handed her one bite possibly two bites worth of ice cream compared to my satisfactory serving of ice cream. For half the price I was assuming it would be a half scoop of a single scoop. But nope it was served in a condiment cup. Basically the sample cups for frozen yogurt. It’s such a shame because the ice cream is awesome but not worth the potential tantrum. Luckily one kiddo was asleep in the car so my daughter was able to get a larger serving of ice cream because she got two itty bitty servings. But even two itty bitty servings are not worth the half price of a single scoop. So disappointing waste of money. Don’t get your kiddos itty bitty servings just order a single and have them share it. Just ridiculous to pay over two dollars for a sample of ice cream.
