I expected that eating was dried too late, especially when we were the only ones, but it was all good! we fucked in the 30 minutes, stayed open and regrettably I didn't ask for a to-go box as they shut off the buffet when later I was this peanut chicken scams that like pad thai on a stock, lo mine, and some dessert I was too filled to even try.
Always a consistent selection. they rarely add new items, but eating is quite ok. service could be better, but then it is again a self-service buffet. always one of me to locate for a quick easy meal with friends.
UPDATE: I have food poisoning. Lovely. I 've been going here for 10+ years, and I 've watched it go so downhill. The egg drop soup is so watered down, it tastes like hot water with egg remnants. The girl at the counter, whom I think is the owner 's daughter, didn 't say a word to me. I went to pay, and she didn 't even look up from her phone, nor did she even say a word while I paid. In fact, while taking my card from me, she was still staring at her phone and typing a text message! The owner is always angry, and never says thank you , or have a great day . The service is just... awful, and has gotten worse through the years, especially since they moved to the new building. In addition, they boosted the prices for takeout to $8.25 per pound, from their $5 and some cents a year and a half ago. The food is NOT worth the jump in price, AT ALL. I 'm angry, because this used to be a great place to go. Many of my friends and I used to go there weekly, and now we have all decided we are never going again. It 's a shame, but I 'll pay more for decent food, and service, not watered down soup and cheap food. Go to Peking Restaurant, they have both good food, and good service. I will never, ever go here again, and I know many others who aren 't either. They are going to lose a lot of money, but they haven 't done anything to fix it. If they don 't care, why should I?
I've given this place 4 tries because there just aren't many affordable options here in our community. Food is very greasy and very little flavor which is a bad combination. Overcooked and soggy vegetables. Even the egg rolls were bad! Sweet and sour sauce is like water. General Tsos is like water. Just about every other piece of chicken I put in my mouth has gristly parts that have to be spit out. Some was overcooked and other was undercooked. The atmosphere is quite unfriendly as well. When I walk in and smile and say hello, I expect the same small courtesy in return, but I've been met with frowns and not a single word of hello or thank you, etc... The icing on the cake is when I got take out and the woman who rang me up shorted me on my change. Again, with not a single word spoken and very rude. The ONLY thing good here is the crab rangoons, so occasionally I stop in for take out rangoons, but after 4 visits and being treated rudely, I won't be spending my money here anymore.
Good buffet that differs with some classic Chinese buffet items. kung pow, general tso, bark meat and broccoli, and others are all different tastes, but still good in my opinion. Hot and acidic suppe was average. peanut huh is good and I like the mushroom dishes. I often get buffet to go and this is very affordable. great worth. the teriyaki chicken sticks are not excessively sweet as I like.
