Large Chinese takeaway, eating is on place and chips is always fresh as they always cook to order. Whenever I wait for my eating, I noticed that they can ask every customer if they can wait when someone orders chips in-house, they are honest about that there is a bit long (about 10 minutes) they see that some people go as they can not wait, but at least they are ready to give fresh chips to everyone and rather risk to make a few sales to loosing, than cooking chips. (like many chip shops, they prepare many portions and give them the chips, even if they sit in the chip box for more than 10 minutes. but not in fais, that is a rare thing.) would definitely recommend everyone.

The best chinese in butdare and price-performance ratio . the curries are excellent and the meat is very delicate. I've been there for years. the young are very friendly and polite. the chips are always fresh as they do not boil too often.

Chips are always fresh as they cook each part to order, yes, they have to wait a bit, but it is worth knowing that it was not in the chip box. as regards the portion size, fai’s chinese undoubtedly give most chips in butdare; the Chinese food components are also good. the Chinese menu is a bit small for their typical takeaway, but eating is very nice, I love her bark in black bean sauce with a side of fluffy boiled rice, it cannot fail. her Chinese curry sauce is brilliant, they taste it before more salt, as I made the mistake to add a bit of salt than it was already perfectly seasoned. (because most of the shops under the season their curry.) Chinese BBQ sauce is also delightful, full of Umami aroma, I would rather bbq about their typical heavy every day. overall, take a solid and one of my masters if I want to treat myself.

Very nice food! Decided to give Fai's a go on a Saturday evening, and was not disappointed! Chips are cooked to order and are always fresh, you can see them wrap up the chips infront of you which is very nice! The portions that they give you is the best in Aberdare! (No seriously, it can feed the 5000, its that big! . Although the Chinese menu is quite small compared to many other chinese Takeaways I've been to, the taste is fantastic and portion size is good. I recommend the Singapore Chow mein and BBQ spare ribs, absolutely delightful! The staff are very polite, and quite surprised there's only 4 people working in this establishment, a true family business to its roots! The one thing I must critique is that service can be a bit on the slow side, but that's understandable as theres only 2 at the front and 2 in the kitchen cooking the chinese meals. You can see that the workers are working Extremely hard as I witnessed one of the workers literally taking orders on the phone whilst also putting the meal containers in bags for the customer! Now that's multitasking! (McDonald's you could learn a few things from this takeaway . I worked as a delivery driver for a Takeaway in Cardiff in the past and know how stressful the job can be. Not many people understand how stressful it can be to maintain such flow under timed conditions; especially when you are understaffed, the fact that they can still deliver great food, it's remarkable! Will definitely come again whenever I'm in Aberdare!
