Some of it was warm, some was cold (like the tomato). The sausage was well cooked but hard on one side, making it difficult to cut through. The bacon was incredibly small, and the egg fell apart when I picked it up. The mushrooms were decent, but overall, I felt that the £8.95 price was too high for the quality of food I received.
I want to thank you for the amazing buffet food that you provided for us last week. We had a busy few days hosting courses, and it was a relief to know that we could rely on you to cater for everyone. Dealing with Tastebuds is always a breeze, the service is fantastic and friendly. The food is consistently delicious and great value for money. You will always be our first choice for catering, whether it's hot or cold. Thanks again.
My friend and I frequent this restaurant often and always receive a warm welcome from Fiona and her team. The service is friendly and efficient, the food is plentiful and well-presented, and the prices are very reasonable. It's no surprise that Tastebuds is so popular.
How long would you expect to wait for two coffees? 10 minutes? OK, let that one slide. How long would you wait for 2 slices of cheese on toast? 40 minutes? Well we did and only when I stropped out and went to pay was I told it was ready. As politely as I could I just paid for the coffee and left. Wouldn't have minded but the amount of staff didn't justify the wait of a full forty minutes.
They know how to make good coffee here. Rest of the place looks nice too, very friendly, and the breakfasts look really good. But it’s the coffee that will bring me back.
