The pastries/buns are self serve but everything is wrapped in little bags so contamination is minimized. The cakes are always delightful! My favorite is the Deluxe Strawberry. I can 't explain the frosting in words that convey just how amazing it is. If you read the description, it 's 'just ' whipped cream but 85⁰C 's whipped cream is made from clouds (don 't tell them I told you their secret). It 's super light, fluffy and airy but it 's not sweet. The rest of the cake components all come together in a beautiful chorus of flavor letting each one of those speak to you instead of an over bearing frosting. I also love their chocolate mousse cake. It is very rich so you better love chocolate! The dusting of Cocoa powder on top provides a nice hint of bitter that cuts the sweet from the rest of the dessert nicely (listen to me go on like I 'm the connoisseur of cakes) no but really, my point is that everything is such a perfect blend of sweet and not sweet that it 's an enjoyable experience! Try everything, you won 't be disappointed! Not only do they have food but they also have an assortment of teas, Mills and coffees. Download the app for special deals. Things to note: You can dine in though there are only 2-3 tables. I don 't recall highchairs so if you 're dining with a small child, keep that in mind. The restrooms are open and it 's a single restroom that is wheelchair accessible. Everything is pretty wheelchair accessible except for around the self-serve pastry area, it might be a tight squeeze and things might be out of reach. They do accept tap to pay at this location. You can buy an ENTIRE cake! They even give you a cake cutter! (I saved the best for last) In my photos: Whole cakes: Strawberry Deluxe, Black Forrest and Chocolate Mousse cake Individual servings: Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Royal Chocolate cup.
My husband and I always stop in here after having lunch/dinner at Jeng Chi. They have a nice selection of beverages, buns and pastries/cakes. The cakes are sold by the slice or whole. Fortunately, every time we’ve been they’ve been fully stocked. We’ve tried almost all of their buns at this point some are great but others not so much. The marble taro bun (sweet) and red bean bun (savory) are both light, fluffy and delicious. Service is now take out only and no public restrooms.
This location has the same great quality and flavor as other 85°C I've visited. I guess due to the pandemic, it was pretty empty considering how popular and packed these franchise bakeries tend to be. We were there around 5 pm. We ordered chocolate buns, wheat mushroom pastry, coconut twist, chocolate croissant, rose cheese, egg tarts, and other breads. All were very tasty! They also offer cakes and drinks.
A great place for bakery items, especially dessert. We bought the strawberry mousse and it was one of the best ones in the neighborhood. The folks loved it. Every time we plan on buying cakes we go to 85°C. They never disappoint us. Their buns are as great as their cakes. The tarts are delicious as well. The most important thing is, their quality is consistent for all their locations, which makes them a great business as well.
This bakery is really spacious, but the placement of the pastries is weird. Everyone crowds to the baked goods to the left of the door and then there's an area you could stand and eat, and then you pay around the corner. However, everything was relatively inexpensive. The most expensive item I got was the mango Panna cotta. It was good, but the mango definitely needed to ripen and get sweeter. It was not ripe yet. The garlic bread and sausage bread were ok... they are really sweet and one note. The sweet baked goods and the potato croquettes are delicious though. The vietnamese ice coffee was so good, definitely recommend this drink!
