Murphy's Deli - Richardson

I've been there three times, and I won't be returning. I've consistently had a bad experience with their poor customer service. The staff member I encountered was not friendly and didn't seem to handle food properly. I had to keep an eye on her when she placed meat she was heating up on a bare surface of the microwave. When I asked her to redo it, she engaged in a conversation rather than addressing my concern. It was a disappointing experience overall.

I would recommend steering clear of this restaurant and any of its associated locations. The food was simply appalling. I ordered it through DoorDash, as the calorie counts were listed, leading me to believe it was a healthy, all-natural option. However, the turkey Reuben was truly terrible—actually, "terrible" might be too generous. The meat was slimy and thick, with an unappealing rim around its edges. The bread, which was supposed to be rye, arrived untoasted and resembled a generic store-bought loaf. After just one bite, I had to spit it out. The mere sight of the sandwich made me feel nauseous. I cleaned up, discarded the sandwich, and then decided to try the so-called kosher pickle. As a Jewish person, I can confidently say I've never seen or tasted a pickle that looked like that. It reminded me of the large, unrefrigerated jars of pickles you find in grocery store bulk aisles. I'm not a fan of Jason's Deli, and coming from the East Coast, I wouldn't even classify it as a proper deli. I can only assume their turkey is better than what I experienced here. Overall, it was sickening, stomach-turning, and a complete waste of money and DoorDash fees.

Please ensure that you keep the receipt. There have been a few instances where I was overcharged.
