Cozumel Mexican - Richfield

The food was great and the drink was amazing!! Would definitely go back.

We are traveling and stopped for a night at a nearby hotel and was happy to find Mexican food near. The friendly service and quick preparation of our food was great. We ordered Birria taco meals. The meat was juicy and flavorful but NO CHEESE? Definitely needed the melted cheese to be typical Birria tacos. The consume was flavored well and not spicy so that was great. The chimi cheesecakes were Delicious!

Had the steak tacos and a friend had chicken fajitas. Good portions and the chips and salsa was fantastic. Hey the queso was so food you could drink it lol.

I guess we are just spoiled by the great Mexican restaurants in Chicago area because none of us liked the food. Service was good but thats all. Chips were not warm. Salsa was very tomato based with no kick. Cozumel Fajitas were way overcooked and dry, but did have a good flavor. Fish Tacos were very bland and sauce atop not good. Enchiladas were most successful.
