Gold Den - Richland County

This was my first time visiting this awesome female black own establishment. Delicious food and great staff. This is a hookah lounge but not really smoky at all. The music was loud but that was just me. I had Salmon bites that were moist and delicious with fried okra that was seasoned just right. My friend had the chicken and shrimp bowl with terriaky rice and fried macaroni bites.

Awesome experience. I go weekly and the staff is great. Highly recommend

I will state that the bartender waitress was kind and meant well. However, that doesn't make up for the cook not having on gloves or a mask during a pandemic. My waffle was undercooked and tasted of egg and salt. When I spoke with the cook she blamed the waffle iron. I was able to eat my wings. The fix for this issue was to remove $1 from my tab.

Racquel, the owner, was gracious, and accommodating, and an absolute sweetheart! Although the kitchen wasn't due to open for another half hour, she took it upon herself to welcome us, man the kitchen, and provide me, my daughter, and granddaughter a delicious meal of chicken and waffles that were absolutely delicious! I will certainly visit again(and again! And you should too!
