Boston Pizza - Richmond

We ended up at this restaurant by chance after arriving in Steveston. We were quickly seated and the service was efficient. The restaurant was well-furnished with plenty of seating and large screen TVs. However, the music was too loud, which made the experience unpleasant and somewhat irritating. It seemed like an employee was playing their favorite music at a high volume for their own enjoyment while working, which is not a good sign of management. We prefer to eat out as a social event where we can converse easily, but the loud music made it difficult to hear each other. The food was mediocre and the menu lacked confidence. We noticed a sushi restaurant nearby and wished we had chosen to eat there instead.

The beer & nachos were fine. Service is inconsistent. Sometimes very fast, other times I have to wait somewhat. Usually a good Boston brand experience.

This place is a hit and miss restaurant, the food is good one time then the food sucks the next time.

BP is a decent place for drinks and bar food. Their Italian options aren't. Stick to items like the steak sandwich with really lousy Caesar salad. The Chocolate Explosion is a good desert. The service is slow and quite inattentive.

I have visited this restaurant 20 times, mainly out of convenience rather than preference.
