Contribuisci feedbackThe Church's chicken has always been a standout in the fried chicken industry in Metro Vancouver. Their chicken pieces are larger and juicier than KFC's, but KFC still holds the advantage in terms of taste.
I am a big fan of roasted chicken, so I have high expectations when trying out different places. While Church's Chicken is typically good, I found that the roasted chicken at this restaurant just didn't compare to my favorite spot closer to home. The chicken here is often dry and lacks flavor compared to other Church's locations. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration and works on improving their products.
The physical space of the Cambie location impressed me as one of the better Church's Chicken sites in the Greater Vancouver Area. The clean outdoor area and ample parking made it convenient for us to dine in. The restaurant was spacious with plenty of seating, including an attractive courtyard. The staff was friendly and efficient in taking our order, and our food was served promptly. The chicken, both regular pieces and wings, were well-seasoned with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The buttermilk used in the batter added a special touch to the flavor. Although our meals were not overly greasy, napkins were definitely necessary. Even the apple pie, though a McCain brand, was a satisfying treat. Overall, I would rate the food 4/5, service 3.5/5, and value 4/5. I would recommend Church's Chicken for those looking for quality fast food chicken that hits the mark between crispy and juicy. And the best part? This location is open 24 hours, so you can satisfy your chicken cravings any time of day. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. I was there yesterday at 9:00 with a friend and was disappointed by her customer service officer. He was very rude. The drive in the window was closed so that we knocked on it because it was supposed to be open for 24 hours. When he finally raised the window, we were screamed and said we shouldn't press the button. Instead of words how can you help you, what is your order? We heard going away. We stayed a bit and saw 2 customers who went there and went. The owner of this franchise should be very careful to hire their employees. You could lose a lot of money. About everything, bad experience.
We were traveling to Vancouver for our son who is an actor. We pulled a two can dine coupom for chicken strips off the net. Three of us had a feast for$12. than enough delicious chicken. Not processed or greasy. Wish we had one...on the island.
