Contribuisci feedback[4.5/5] The dim sum here is outstanding. The fresh ingredients are handled with care, and it truly reflects in the taste. In fine Cantonese cooking, texture is just as important as flavor, and the dim sum chef has skillfully embraced this aspect, creating dishes that are textbook-perfect. This ranks among my top three dim sum experiences. I look forward to returning soon to sample more dishes, and perhaps even the sweet and sour pork, which could help ease the disappointment of Hoitong's closure. I can hardly wait!
The service at this restaurant leaves much to be desired. Don't expect any friendly smiles from the staff; due to the high volume of customers, they seem to rush guests through their meals and prompt them to settle their bills quickly. However, despite the lackluster service, the food is absolutely fantastic. It appears that outstanding food doesn’t always coincide with excellent service, which likely explains the many repeat customers, myself included. Alongside their award-winning dumplings, I highly recommend the pan-fried oysters drizzled in soy sauce, as well as the lotus leaf wrapped in a distinctive hat shape, filled with glutinous rice, shrimp, scallops, and chestnuts (make sure to order this one in advance). Don’t overlook the deep-fried beancurd with enoki and shiitake mushrooms in a sweet glaze, and be sure to enjoy their complimentary red bean soup and homemade almond and coconut cookies.
I was in the area on New Year's Day and in search of a lunch spot, and I'm so glad I discovered this place. The menu is fantastic, filled with incredible flavors. The highlight for me was the deep-fried tentacles—absolutely delicious! The dim sum was also very good and reasonably priced. I've come across many complaints about rude service, but it was quite busy when I visited, and the food was exceptional. I’m not after a friendly atmosphere; I just want amazing food!
I enjoyed dim sum with friends on Christmas and arrived around 11 AM. The restaurant was not crowded at that time, and the service was attentive even as it became busier later. The dim sum was quite tasty, with several unique dishes that are not usually available at other places.
The parking entrance can be somewhat easy to miss. It takes you up a ramp to a designated area, and from there you can reach the restaurant either by the elevator or the stairs that descend to the main lobby.
