The restaurant is on the smaller side, and the tables are set up close together, so I would not recommend dining in during peak hours. As for the service, it was absolutely terrible. It seems like the staff have not been trained well, as my experience with them was quite bad. While paying for my takeout, a staff member reached over me to serve the next person in line, which felt disrespectful. I had to wait outside for my order to be ready as there was no space inside. After about 20 minutes, I went in to find that my order had been ready and left sitting on a back counter while the staff were busy doing other tasks. When I asked about my order, the staff pointed towards it and told me to grab it myself. Overall, I did not feel comfortable with the whole experience.
Located in the same complex as Deer Garden Signature, Happy Tofu is a quiet spot to enjoy a satisfying meal without the long wait. The large serving of rice, meat, and veggies, along with a side of miso soup, will leave you feeling content. For light eaters, one order is plenty to share at a reasonable price of $8.50. The fast and efficient service is a plus, although the tea refills may come slightly warm. Overall, I had a positive experience at Happy Tofu and would definitely return.
It's the most delicious meal ever. The store is not so big but wam, service is very nice, lady, who looks like the store owner , always smills friendly. i must say meals are the cheapest with lots of materials inside. as well as unforgettable delicious . definitely will return to share with friends.
Service Is MUCH better different owner. My friends and I haven't visited this restaurant for awhile already because about half a year back we went and we had a horrible experience. This time we decided to go back, we noticed the name changed from Han Ju to Han Cuan Hanppy Tofu Pot House. The menu Slightly changed, it looks nice and simple, better than it was before. I thought the Service stood out for me the best. I remembered before the service was absolutely terrible. I couldn't stand the waitresses there. We order 2 Seafood pot and 3 Korean BBQ style rice. There was no doubt that the quantity increased. We definitely got what we payed for. Overall this restaurant has improved a lot since the last owner.
