Osmow's Shawarma - Richmond

1 star because at least the crew was nice and attentive. eating is a big sweat! this is not Persian / Mediterranean cuisine. they had not even fresh bark or lamb on stand-up grill. they had only chickens. the bark and the lamb were crushed/ground and held in a warming drawer. real shawarma is cut fresh from grill! the garlic sauce had no hints on garlic and seasoned. the reispilaf was not even yellow. instead it was blunt white ham from what ground. no hints on tumeric or saffron or any seasoned. we tried the bark plate and the bark meat was dry and burned. I also tried to think the chicken sluice that it must be her flag bear, but that was also a torn dry. they drown their dishes in their so-called garlic sauce and hope they don't notice anything. this place is simply an insult to eat Persian. not fresh, very dry, and no seasoned and the aromatic size of the Persian farewell. also their catchphrase modern Mediterranean cuisine makes no sense. Mediterranean food focu on good olive oil, fresh ingredients, meat slowly grilled, seafood, lemons, garlic etc. I cook better grilled bark meat than this place down. even my wife said never again! only the staff was great and the prices appropriate. but after the attempt of eating I would even pay $5 for this bark meat plate. who knows how long it sits in the warmer. sheesh! will never repeat and remain disappointed!

I got the fattoush salad and they gave me straight up lettuce head…. STALE LETTUCE IN THE SALAD. I paid 4 dollar for that small baklava and they gave me extra hair with it as well. Poor food quality and poor customer service.

One of the best shawarmas in the metro Vancouver area, highly recommended this place to anyone wanting some good chicken shawarma. Amazing customer service , they help you decide your spice levels too, and warn you about how spicy things would be. Jasmeen the manager is amazing. Will Surely visit again.

Mediterranean place located on Bridgeport Road beside Popeyes Chicken. Small little place with approx. seating for 20. By the looks of the menu the food seemed alright but when you get the finished product, it doesn't look anything like it at all. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Platter with Greek Salad. No taste to the chicken at all and the Greek salad....well, I guess you can call it greek salad since there's olives (Basically lettuce, olives, and onions). You would probably be better off going down to Daddy's Grill to get quality you would expect.

I went there to order lamb Shawarma, and I asked the guy if they have the loyalty card as advertised in their website, he said 'yes '.so I ordered 2 lamb Shawarma, then after payment I asked for the loyalty card with the stamps, then he retracted and said they ran out of cards. I requested to note it on my receipt that way when they get their order of loyalty cards, they can add two stamps to the card. However they declined to do so. They are liars, no integrity at all, bad customer service. Never had I encountered such terrible service. Their food is not even that great. Uncle Sal 's at blundell St is way better than this restaurant. Osmows portion is small while uncle sal has generous portion and the owners and servers are very courteous . I DON 'T recommend this terrible restaurant named OSMOWS Bridgeport -Richmond BC. I would have put a rating of zero, but no choice but to pick 1.
