Contribuisci feedback....... but needs to share with readers here. I was drawn to this restaurant due to fond memories of Rhino House back in the days of Aberdeen Centre, where the restaurant was above a bowling centre. This "new" Rhino House ( straight translation of its chinese name) disappointed. Yes, parking is easy as it is part of Landsdowne Mall, but that's the only advantage over some of its competitors. It was a weekday around 2 and the place was not full.Seats were uncomfortable, food was prepared wrong with total disregard of the requested avoidance of allergy ingredient. A half hearted apology from the waiter who said the kitchen staff didn't pay attention to what he wrote. Although he offered to prepare the dish again, we didn't want to " trouble" the cooks inside. After all, there were many other eateries around so we just finished what we could eat and left.
It is exactly the same place where California restaurant is located at Lansdowne Mall. In the beginning, I heard very bad comment from friends but totally changed my review after visiting them today for lunch. Mostly of the dishes are less than $8 with hot drinks. Food is alright and services are good. After some re-decoration, the atmosphere is much better and privacy is taken care of (too open in the past). Lastly, parking is convenience.
This restaurant is one of my favorite spots for Happy Hour. The prices are unbeatable (highballs for $3!) and the service is always excellent.
The food's aight.__It's Earls, it is what it is__What I would recommend is their focaccia.
A couple weeks ago while in Vancouver we stopped in at Earl's Kitchen and bar.
