The food is well-prepared, clean, and delicious, and the service is excellent. The prices are fair, and the overall quality far exceeds what you would find at an average pub. I highly recommend it.
The restaurant serves consistently good pub food, cold beer, and has a lively atmosphere. Big Rich and Gail are the friendly bartenders who make the experience even more enjoyable.
The food at this restaurant is excellently prepared, with generous portions and affordable prices. What you may not realize is that they share a kitchen with the Red Door, a highly regarded restaurant next door. Despite its casual pub atmosphere and local crowd, the food here is a hidden gem in Whistler. We have dined here twice this summer and plan to return again.
Three of us went to Roland's for dinner tonight and are glad we did. My husband had half the rack, friend had the cattle deduction and I enjoyed an excellent Veggie Burger. All this was done with the daily special pitcher by...pale ale. The atmosphere was of course great on the terrace and our waitress entertaining. We enjoyed this pub when it was Hoz all the years ago and now finds that Rolands has successfully come to the standard we all remember and love.
Visited Roland's for my first time and was pleasantly surprised ! It's a pub sports bar but the food (we had the fish and chips and fish tacos) and service was excellent!
