Was craving bbq pork and wonton noodles and stumbled across this restaurant. The server taking the order was pleasant and friendly. I got my food within 5 minutes. They separated the noodles and soup (some restaurants don’t do this! in two different containers and the meal hit the spot. Would recommend and will come back to try other Cantonese comfort food.
The chicken dishes are good but getting very expensive, I had Salt baked chicken lunch set and asked for dark meat (additional $1.50 i think) Total $18.50 ? that’s too expensive for lunch.I go there often and one of the waiter is ALWAYS very rude, she should quit if she does not like the job or boss and should not release her unhappiness at the customers.
Used to be a favorite, partly due to its fair price. Since covid, it's gotten way too expensive. To give you an idea, I ordered a tofu dish with a few mushrooms $21); Eggplant/chicken hot pot $23), the chicken was almost nonexistent. These 2 dishes alone is already $44. If I am paying this much, I might as well go to Red Star or Kirin, where the quality is far superior. Goodbye Specialty Chicken...
Always really good food. Folks have brought me here a few times and every time we order their chicken dish... From Hainanese to salt baked chicken to soya chicken. My fave is the salt baked chicken. Oh and do try their squid hot salt dish! It's fabulous!
