The Pita Pit - Richmond

In the heart of Richmond there is a fast food restaurant, emphasis on fast. Its run by a lovely young couple who don,t keep people waiting. My buddies brought me here for lunch and I'm a regular now. We are in the construction industry and only have a half/hour lunch break. Harm Dhillon and his lovely wife run this place so efficiently that you only wait a few minutes. All of their menu is fabulous and they encourage customers to try them all. Its so refreshing to be treated with respect, albeit a fast food franchise. Last Tuesday we were there and they were in the midst of switching coffee machines, so the coffee wasn,t ready. I'm a huge coffee fan but couldn,t wait. Mrs Dhillon asked where we were working and said she would drop off a coffee. Not five minutes passed and there she was,hot coffee. Where do get that kind of friendly service anymore. The coffee they serve is very good. If your looking for Happy people, healthy food and fast service,try The pita pit,you will be served with a smile.

Lovely little spot location in garden city mall. The Pitas come in small and large, be sure to state which as u will get a large, lol. The Greek is especially good w tZatziki ! My fav. Not many tables and their is short window seating available as well. More a takeout place.

I was enroute to Church's Chicken when I spotted the Pita Pit and decided that a pita wouldn't be so heavy for lunch. I opted for the bacon pita which really hit the spot.

Delicious fresh Pitas with your choice of all sorts of delicious toppings. The staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating and there is rarely long waits. Make sure you spice up your pita with some hot sauce for that extra kick!

Well it finally happened. Pita Pit is now has gluten free pita bread. Opens the world for those who can not have wheat related products. You know what they are just fantastic tasting. good for you Pita Pit.
