I could taste hints of Chinese 5 spices. Overall, our dinner was not particularly exciting, but it wasn't bad either. The food was consistently good. It wouldn't be surprising to learn that they have a loyal group of regular customers who appreciate the comforting and familiar flavors of the dishes.
The service was fast. We enjoyed our meal, although the Taiwanese chicken cutlet was undercooked. It was a bit concerning, but we still ate it. The bubble tea was good, except the taro smoothie was made with fresh taro, which we didn't prefer. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. I would return because I liked the food selection. Overall, a good restaurant.
The food at this restaurant is good. The bubble tea is decent, I suppose, but what I really appreciate is the extensive menu with a wide variety of options. While the prices may be a bit higher than other bubble tea spots, the flavors are worth it.
Great shaved ice!. I love the shaved ice here! Last time I went, I had the reg one with condensed milk, chewy ball, the taro chewy thing, adn taro. I love it all except for the taro, their taro thing taste funny. It was delicious!
Milk Tea... Get it Hot!!!. After you get past the amusing footnote on the signage explaining what the triple reference is in the business name, you step into a world that seems to be from the other side of the world. <br/ <br/ With its very Asian decor, complete with one open booth with some softer seating (that we managed to snag after initially rebuffed, but apparently having a Mandarin speaker in our group gave us the right 'cred ' to be granted access to this little corner). <br/ <br/ I ordered the classic, milk tea, but got it hot. It came in a large glass mug. Must say its great heated up like this, and the pearls were excellent. <br/ <br/ Two others in our party had what was listed on the menu as Galpis, but I think is really Calpis-based drinks. At night, the one fake ice cube inside the cups that were seemingly activated by the electrolytes or something in the drink , lit up for show. Kinda of tacky? Yes. But interesting nonetheless.
