Applebee's Grill - Richmond

We usually do not try to eat the national chains, but for a reliable restaurant that offers good food at competitive prices, we like to eat at Applebee. And at Richmond airport this is our favorite place when we fly from here. Doris started with a glass of Chardonnay while I went with a big Sam Adams to go with our hamburgers and fries. Our accounts came to 63. Not bad for airport dinners.

It was okay... The place was completely understated. Sa at a table and after 10-15 minutes the section said closed due to lack of personnel. Saw at the bar that was pretty crowded with just one bartender. Poor guy! He finally came to us and others as soon as possible, but the bar probably needed 3 barkeepers for demand. This place could do much more business by having more employees. Good selection of beers and Applebees.

I loved this place! The food is incredibly good, and the prices are below USD 20 for most meals.

Dined at this Applebee's at Richmond International Airport 12/14/18 12:20pm. I sat at table #15. I forgot the name of the male server. The food was delicious and the host who sat me down was very friendly. The male staff who took my order was very nice, friendly, attentive, and spoke with a smile you could hear in his voice, see in his expression, and sense in his disposition. I hope management will be able to identify him from Invoice #976523 RefID: 125904 and let him know he is doing an amazing job. Definitely stopping by here when I return to town.

I had the Whiskey Burger with fries and my friend had the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp, both were amazing! We also tried the Blue Long Islands and they weren't that strong, could definitely taste the lemonade which was refreshing, could've used a little stronger of a pour. Our hostess was great and had us laughing the whole time. She had a great attitude. Nice to come across good service, especially at an airport. Definitely loved the quality of food and service at this Applebee's.
