Amazing meal from beginning to end. Excellent service our server was very friendly to take photos from the table, etc. Every dish we ordered was fantastic, from appetizers to salads to desserts. This is one of the best meals I had in my life, including fine food in several countries and various parts of the USA. I'm particularly grateful because we brought two family members who can't eat so often, and it felt wonderful that they have so much time.

Our server was fantastic. They made a beautiful happy birthday on the menu and a small piece of cake for dessert, which was so beautiful. but the food was bad.. It didn't look good, the a la carte pages looked honestly as if it belonged to a buffet with the presentation of the food and the taste was boring. The steak had a nice car on the outside and meat pace was perfectly cooked. the only saving grace. I expected a lot more from a steakhouse with white tablecloths.. I wish I made pictures to show you, but honestly, the food was not worthy to make pictures. Caesar Salat was devastated, the asparagus (the size of the toothpicks) was dipped with the blandest Burr blanc sauce, and lobster Mac and cheese was a little bred. Who uses penne for Mac and cheese, unless you feed the masses?! Overall very disappointed and is not recommended.

Another great meal at Bookbinders! Food and service were excellent. We celebrated an anniversary and had an excellent experience. We had shrimps and crabs appetizers and the steaks were delicious. The only thing that was a little gone was the crab cake, as it was more like a devil scab than a crab cake. They may have changed how they do them, but it was still delicious. In any case, it would recommend a special occasion.

There were four of us to visit in the restaurant from the city and, while we enjoyed the ambience of the place, we were a little underwhelmed by the food compared to the price.

My husband and I have been coming to bookbinders every year for three years. We have made it a tradition for our anniversary and this year marked 7 years for us. Every time we come to bookbinders it is amazing in every sense and we will keep the tradition alive with a yearly trip to Richmond for our celebration of love
