Not sure what was going on with that, because these were lower quality omelets than I would've made at home. Everything very much tasted and looked like pre-packaged food. There were two slices of american cheese lightly melted on the omelets, which is gross because american cheese is gross to me. As for the meat, the bacon looked like that pre-cooked microwave bacon, and the sausage in the omelet was just those circular freezer sausage patties that they had torn into pieces. And I'm not entirely sure about the eggs... they kind of looked and tasted like those beaters eggs that come in the cartons. Oh, and it only took like two minutes to get our food, which always makes me wonder how "fresh" their food actually is. I appreciate quick service, but it was unsettlingly quick. I'm surprised Southern Living rated them as high as they did. The decor is hokey, the tables felt sticky and it was in a weird location. That's on top of the sub-par food. I'm also surprised that they have as high of a rating on here as they do. There are much better places to get a breakfast/brunch in this city.

Not fresh. My husband and I went there last week, both get omelets that Southwood appeared to appear. Not sure what was going to lose because these lower quality messages were when I had done at home. Everything was very tasted, and looked like a pre-packed food. There were two slices of American cheeses that are easily melted on the omeletts, which is gross, because the American cheese is rough for me. As for the meat, the bacon looked like this pre-cooked microwave bacon, and the sausage in the omelet was just these circular freezer sausage pies that had torn them into pieces. And I'm not sure about the eggs ... they saw and tasted like these beaties that come into the boxes. Oh, and it only lasted two minutes to get our food, which always asks me how "fresh" your food is actually. I appreciate the fast service, but it was not uncertain quickly. Grief I am surprised that the southern life has her as high as she did. The decor is Hokey, the tables felt sticky and it was in a strange location. This is on the sub-par eating. I am also surprised that you have here so high a praise as you do. There are much better places to get a breakfast / brunch in this city.
