I ordered on the phone and ordered a Vietnamese dish without making peanut products. When I got into the load, I asked to confirm that there was no edus.
The Californian is my trip and 80% of the time I get the mac and cheese base. the first time I saw it on the menu, I asked the apple, but it was nice.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and was pleased that parking was easy to find. I found a spot right in front, which is rare for Carytown restaurants. The weather was beautiful, not too hot, so we decided to sit outside and enjoy our meal. The only downside was a pesky fly that kept hovering around us. The food was delicious - I ordered the Vietnamese bowl for $10, which came with marinated garlic ginger mushrooms, diced cucumber, fresh herbs, toasted sesame seeds, and a blend of quick pickled carrots, onion, red cabbage, and diakon radish. It was topped with vegan basil aioli, peanut sauce, and fresh avocado, which added a burst of flavor. I also tried the Mint Lime tea, which was refreshing. My picky teenager opted for macaroni and cheese, which looked like the cheese had just been poured on top and not melted. However, she enjoyed the taste. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be returning.
Food was so delicious and fast, with an adorable outdoor patio--I will definitely return! The food is fast, but fresh and filling. You can choose between salads, wraps, or quinoa bowls, featuring four main flavor options: Mediterranean, Californian, Thai, or Japanese. The Japanese quinoa bowl was so good and unlike most places that serve bowls like this, the sauce wasn't too heavy. Grab some fresh produce from here while you wait for your food, too.
