Hanger's - Richmond

The food and drinks were excellent. For appetizers, we tried the goat cheese ball and the cheese cigar. The goat cheese ball was decent, but the cheese cigar was absolutely delightful. The crispy wonton wrap paired with the chewy cheese filling was a perfect combination. For my main course, I ordered the shrimp and grits, accompanied by Brussels sprouts and zucchini. The shrimp was delicious, and the Cajun vegetables combined with the grits were bursting with flavor. However, I found the sausage in the dish to be overly salty, to the point where I couldn’t finish it. My dining companions also praised the Country Boy beer, and the dessert menu looked enticing. I would definitely recommend trying the bourbon chocolate mousse—it’s a must!

**Ambiance:** The restaurant has an upscale feel, featuring a cozy fireplace and elegant decor. It's an ideal setting for a romantic date, a celebration, or even a business dinner. **Pricing:** Given the ambiance, the prices are quite reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it is, considering the lovely environment. **Service:** We had no complaints; our waitress was friendly and attentive, providing quick and efficient service.

I would honestly have to say over evening tonight would have to be overall one of the best dinners ever. The atmosphere was perfect, our waitress was awesome, our drinks were great tried the Amelie and our food was wonderful! Would defiantly come again when we are in town!

Came in for dinner the restaurant looks nice but horrible service at best now let's get to the food my friends and I all had steaks all were ordered medium and all four came out so well done they were tough as leather for the price I at least expect an edible dinner

Hanger 's is definitely the nicest up scale restaurant Richmond has seen in a long, long time. The menu has a nice mix of new classics and dishes which are a refreshing surprise especially in a city dominated by chains. I highly recommend the cheese plate as a starter (your selection of 3 cheeses for $12 accompanied by dried fruits, walnuts, a mango chutney). The selection features local Kentucky made products as well as some imports from other states. Most notably, there are 3 of Cowgirl Creamery 's cheeses designated by California I highly recommend the Mt Tam and Humboldt Fog. I 've been to Hanger 's twice once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the food and service were excellent. For lunch I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which had a nice level of spice and a great blue cheese, too. For dinner, we sampled a selection of appetizers and split a dessert.
