Mimi's New Orleans - Richmond

I was here for a court trial for the death of my brother and this restaurant was close to the court house. Food was fabulous and service was outstanding! They also offered prayers as I waited on the verdict. Highly recommend! They need to open one up in nw Arkansas so I can't eat more!

Loved it! Been in Texas 7 years and this is the first time I've had Louisiana food I've actually liked. 3pm-6pm cocktail was half off. I got a hurricane and got a nice buzz off it. The chef sent out the Mardi Gras shrimp for our table. Also loved it. I could in hale the Tabsaco sauce with a nice burn on my tongue. I had the Atchafayla catfish ? with crawfish etouffee. Enjoyed it. Potato salad was to die for. They even season the veggies. The beginets taste like the French Quarter. The bread pudding has nice flavor, taste like they add caramel to it. My family enjoyed there food. The only one was my husband who didn't find the pobody too special, but its a Poboy sooo to bad for him. We will definitely be back. It is higher prices but we got enough food for leftovers. Only downside is it smells like the Cigar lounge next door. They do try to dial the scent back with air freshners. We will be back though. Great job!

Hubby and I visited yesterday for dinner. The host was very friendly and the ambiance was nice. Our waitress had no enthusiasm whatsoever, very monotone, and no smile. My cocktail was very good. The food was decent. The loaded oysters were just ok, they probably would have been better fried. The greens were delicious. My husband said the red beans had no flavor. He's usually able to finish everything on his plate, but he couldn't finish those. The portions were fulfilling.
