Poe's Pub - Richmond

Delish!!!! I was a little skeptical from looking at building  from the outside but good god the food is good!!!! I will be def going back soon!!!

If you haven't been lately, do yourself a favor and try it again!. I've been eating at Poe's Pub for years. Seems they've kicked it up a notch! We went last Friday night and I literally had one of the best meals ever. My friends got the jambalaya with toasted bread points and the beef brisket with fries and they were both very happy. I got a perfectly cooked sirloin with Irish Whisky butter served on real mashed potatoes with fresh asparagus and toasted bread points. It was displayed beautifully on the plate. I'm not a dessert fan, but when AA got the peanut butter chocolate pie I had to dive in. The peanut butter cheesecake melted in your mouth, no chewing required. The cookie crust was crunchy and the chocolate ganache to die for. It was VCU tournament night and as busy as they were, the service was phenomenal. Everything I ate was fresh and homemade. Can't wait to go back again.

Yet another little gem in Richmond This place serves you enough food for two meals, and the fries are hand-cut and seasoned perfectly.

This place is basically the definition of my favorite type of restaurant and the fact that I love all things Poe makes this place even more appealing to me.

Laid back bar with good food always gets a plus from me! We come here as often as we can for burgers and beers, and their perogies are SO good! Love this
