The Camel - Richmond

Big music room! I was often here and I got a show, took a drink or ate. they have virtually every day (in the regular at night) live music performances. music styles range from dj’s, folk bands, poetry nights, jazz, classical rock, country and everything in between. most shows are free, but there are some who need an entry fee ($5-$20 depending on the night) . they publish these information in the rule on their facebook or online website. the camel is always a good time. very relaxing and flowering until her jam comes and she just wants to dance. I recommend visiting at least once.

Food and drink were fantastic. An intimate and relaxed setting for dinner and a show. Had one of the best burgers I've ever eaten (Havarti and mushroom), and the crab dip was a tasty appetizer. Their on-tap beer selection is impressive and diverse. I highly recommend this place.

The Camel is one of the last remaining bastions of true live music in Virginia. It's funky, intimate, and very accessible to music lovers. They also have an excellent kitchen and a wide selection of beer, wine, and booze..
